I discovered art therapy the day after a chaotic trip to Jamaica in 2018. I spent 3 solid days in my room by myself on vacation because I could no longer handle being around people anymore.
I returned home to Canada the following week and tried to come to terms with how sick I was. To stay busy one day I decided to clean up my basement which is when I found a blank canvas, some paints, and a few brushes sitting in a box. I started my first piece of art.
Art was life changing for me as I hope it may be for you. It's creative, it's mindful, and it allows be to express my feelings through painting when words are not enough.
